The Book of Daniel - Facing 6 Death Decrees - Pr David Price - GTAN2526

Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, Go therefore and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Welcome to Go Teach all nations, bringing you Christ's teachings through Australian and international speakers. And here is today's presenter, Pastor David Price. SPEAKER 2 I'd like to speak to you this morning about Daniel chapter six, and I'm asking the question, is this a blueprint for the end times? Now you might have your own opinion on that, but I'm saying yes, Daniel chapters one to six are a blueprint for the end times. I'm actually going to take you through today six death decrees found in the Book of Daniel. And so I've called this message, Understanding Daniel for Today. And I'm going to focus on whether it is about death or deliverance. Death or deliverance. why am I focusing on this today? Because friends, the things that Daniel and his three friends went through in the book of Daniel, are they not gonna boomerang back around and hit us again? Isn't that correct? And so let me share with you about some of the challenges that God's last day people are gonna face. We're going to look at the death decree against God's people found in the book Christ Triumphant, page 366. Satan will excite the indignation of apostate Christendom. Those are the fallen churches against the humble remnant who conscientiously refuse to accept false customs and traditions. the church, this is speaking about the apostate Protestant Christian world, and the world will unite, and the world will lend to the church power to crush out the right of the people to worship according to God's Word. The decree is to go forth that all who will not receive the mark of the beast shall neither buy nor sell. and finally, that they shall be put to death. But the saints of God do not receive this mark. What do you say? The prophet of Patmos beheld, that's John the Revelator, those who'd gotten the what? The victory over the beast and over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, they're standing on the sea of glass, having the harps of God and singing the song of Moses and the Lamb. Friends, I am distressed that in the last few weeks, I've been told not to preach this message. It's scaring the horses. People don't want to hear any more about this. It's very, very upsetting. Now, I have to ask myself when I hear stuff like that, is that coming from Heaven or is that coming from hell? Because my mission is very clear here. My mission is, under the power of the Holy Spirit, God willing, to prepare a people ready to meet Jesus in the clouds. Isn't that why you're here today? And I take that mission very, very seriously. So the saints of God do not receive the mark. Friends, the good news today is that you can be in that great multitude in Revelation chapter 9 who are there and are celebrating eternal life. What do you say? So what about the people who are afraid? well, we just sang a song, didn't we? Standing on the what? Promises. I hope there's some people out there memorising the promises. This is one I memorise. For God has not given David a spirit of what? Fear. So I've transplanted that. God has given me a spirit of faith. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Is there anyone here today who doesn't need a sound? mind free from mental health issues. There's another beautiful promise in Isaiah 41:13, I am the Lord your God, would you read it with me? I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear, I will help you. Now friends, when you see me raise my right hand for prayer, it's not a Nazi salute, it's not Elon Musk, Just calm down. There's something very special about the right hand of God and our right hand, that God reaches down to us. So God has told us that if you're suffering a spirit of fear, it's not coming from Him. And secondly, He will help you. Does God want you burning in the lake of fire or does He want you there on that great day? Is He going to let you down? No, that is not the God that we worship, is it? He is going to empower us to go through this crisis. Well, have you got your swords? I noticed, Dave, you pulled your sword out early, love your work. Let's go to Daniel chapter 12. Open with me to Daniel chapter 12, and we're going to verses 9 and 10. It's wonderful to see you get your swords out. If you have the New King James Version, then I'm gonna ask you to join me. in the New King James, which will be on the screen, for those who have joined us online, thank you. We're in Daniel 12:9-10. And he said, who is it? The angel speaking to Daniel. Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till when? The time of the end. Now we're living in the time of the end or the end of time. Now I've told you how to work this out before. Does anyone remember my story about the turkey? All right, so in Thanksgiving in America who's got the date? What's the Thanksgiving date in America? Sorry? I think, yeah, so anyhow, whatever date it is, when the turkey is in, I think, October or November, that's the time of the end. But when they get out the big machete, that's the end of time. Friends, we are living in the time of the end. When many shall be purified, made white and refined, but the wicked shall do what? Wickedly and none of the wicked shall what? Understand, isn't that amazing? But the wise shall understand. I want to go to one of my favourite new versions, the Voice. Have a look on the screen. The man in linen said, It is time for you to go on your way, Daniel, for the words must be kept secret and sealed until the time of the end. Verse 10, Many will keep themselves pure and clean and refined, despite the pressures of these times. Friends, I believe that many of you are tuning up your spiritual life. You are trying to spend at least half an hour with Jesus in the morning and half an hour with Jesus at night, isn't that right? Some of you are memorizing Scripture. By the way, I find the memorization of Scripture and quoting back Scripture, the most powerful way to overcome sin and temptation. Is anybody with me? Thank you Helen. So friends, I want to tell you that as you quote Scripture, as Jesus did in Matthew chapter 4, you will have power over temptation, you will have overcoming power. Many will keep themselves pure and clean and refined. This is talking about a last day people who are keeping the commandments in the power of Jesus Christ under the grace of the Holy Spirit. Despite the pressures of these times, and we are pressured, but those who are wicked will continue their wicked ways and none of them, how many? None of them will ever understand, but those who are wise will. So friends, there's two main points I'd like you to take home. Number one, the wise meaning the righteous, we will understand the times. Now I have a warning right here. If you know exactly all the last day events in correct order and get it all right, does that mean I'm gonna see you under the tree of life in the heavenly city? Does that mean you're gonna be there? So to know and have it all right doesn't mean you're gonna be there. Isn't that right? so it will be that there is knowledge that you have not just known the truth, but you have loved the truth, which means to take it into your heart and to follow it and make that a principle of your life. Do we understand? Secondly, the wicked remain unrepentant. They don't want to have anything to do with God, the majority. And so God says they will never understand the times in which we live. And often we try and tell people, Hey, you know, it's all happening. Jesus is coming. And they're like, Well, no, everything's going back to normal. Everything's going back to normal. This is not the time we've got through all that stuff in 2020 and 2021. And now, you know, this is normal life. So friends, a few weeks ago I went to Western Australia to speak to over 80 men at a men's ministry camp. And It was just the most wonderful time of my life speaking to them about what was going to happen in the last days. And so these are two sermons that still have to be presented here. By the way, for those who are afraid of the seven last plagues, are the seven last plagues for God's people or are they for the wicked? They're for the wicked. So that's something you can tick off your list. Don't have to worry about that. Well Pastor, why do we have to study the book of Daniel? Let us go to the woman of God. When the books of what? Daniel and Revelation are better understood, believers will have an entirely different religious experience. They'll be given such a glimpse of the open gates of heaven that heart and mind will be impressed with the character that all must develop in order to realise the blessedness, which is to be the reward of the pure in heart. That's testimonies to ministers 114. So friends, I have done something that the Holy Spirit put it on my heart. I haven't done it for the good of my health. I've probably done it for the good of my spiritual health. And that is, I have redesigned this flyer to go through the character development that Daniel and his three friends had to go through. And we're going to look at that as we study the book of Daniel. Yes, the beasts and the charts and the time charts and the 1260 and 2300, they're all important. But friends, I'm focusing on my character. And by what my wife tells me and some of you tell me, I got a way to go. What do you say? All right, someone said, Amen. Too enthusiastically there. There's another thing, Pastor, I've done all, you know, I've done all these seminars. I know it all. When the books of what? Daniel and Revelation are better understood, believers will have a entirely different religious experience. They will be given such glimpses of the open gates of heaven that heart and mind will be impressed with the what? The knowledge of last day events. What's it say? The character that all must develop, that I must develop in order to realise the blessedness which is to be the reward of the pure in heart. Friends, this Daniel seminar is a Daniel and Revelation seminar together. We will leave no stone unturned. And if you think about 32 lessons, that covers everything that is precious and holy and controversial that is held by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, or maybe I should say used to be. So are we facing a time when Daniel chapter 1 to 6 should be a blueprint for the end times? I want to tell you that I stand on the shoulders of giants this morning. I love Jacques, B. Duane Kahn, an SDA scholar. I studied under him in my Master of Arts in Theology in 1996 at Avondale College. His book Secrets of Daniel, Wisdom and Dreams of a Jewish Prince in Exile is absolutely fantastic. And also the book by Norman McInulty, Daniel, Practical Living in the Judgment Hour. Does anyone know Norman McInulty from YouTube? Anyone watching him? Pam's onto him. I would recommend to you a sermon that I didn't want to tell you about because I wanted to preach it myself. His presentation called the Four Stages of the Sunday Law is absolutely God inspired. What is it? It's Dr. Norman McInulty. He is a neurologist, an Adventist neurologist, and he goes through the four stages of the Sunday Law. so that you don't get too worked up by stage number one. Think, oh, this is it. No, there's four stages and it will come gradually. Let's jump straight into Daniel chapter 1, the victory in Babylon versus Jerusalem. Friends, we don't have time to go through this chapter by chapter. That's what we're going to do in the seminar. Tonight we're going to skim across the top. So I'm going to summarise the main events. If you want greater depth, then you come to the seminar. so in Daniel chapter 1, Prince Daniel's taken captive away as a prisoner. And so the Babylonians were brilliant. They would take the intelligentsia of the nobles, they would take them to Babylon, indoctrinate them, brainwash them, then send them back as leaders so they would never turn against their host country. And so Daniel chapter 1 is about his training and assimilation in Babylon. It's also a test of Daniel and his three mates character and faithfulness to God, because Daniel is going to go through times where he faces death decrees, some are explicit, some are implicit, and is he going to hold the line when his life is at stake? And what I take out of this is will I stand up and say things that are true to God's Word or will I bend to the prevailing culture of what is acceptable? Because that's what the majority are doing. And I hope God willing, I'll stand. God gives Daniel, not all of them, Daniel, understanding in all visions and dreams. So friends, In Daniel 1:8, I want to share with you from the voice, please look on the screen so we're on the same version. Although the king ate only the finest Babylonian fare, by the way, the best meat and the best wine, Daniel was determined not to violate God's law. What's going to be the big issue in the last days? What's it going to be? Are you keeping the Ten Commandment law or not? Are you going to say it was done away with at the cross? He didn't want to violate God's law or defile himself by eating the food and drinking the wine. Some commentators say that the food was unclean food and the wine was fermented. Other commentators say it was doubly impure for it was unclean and fermented and had been offered to the gods of Babylon. So it was impure and unclean in every possible way. Only one problem. It's come from the king's table. Now ladies, if I came to your place for Sabbath lunch and you serve up your piece de resistance, your best dish, and I say, no, I'm not eating that, just get a sense that somehow it's gonna all get very awkward and you'll have to go off somewhere early and I won't be coming back for another lunch. So Daniel asked the chief of the royal eunuchs for permission not to eat the food. This is unprecedented. You just read the verse and skim on. This is unprecedented. This is like, no, I will not eat the best of the king's food and the best of the king's wine. In Daniel 1:9-12 in the Voice, Now God had given Daniel special favour and fondness in the eyes of the king's chief eunuch. This had to happen or he would have been killed. Still the eunuch was concerned, Ashpenash says to Daniel, Belteshazzar, Your request puts me in a what? A difficult position. I'm afraid of what my Lord the King might do. He has ordered that you are to eat the food and drink the wine prepared for His table. What will happen if He sees you and your friends over time in poorer health than the other young men your own age? I am certain He'll what? He'll kill me. And then He'll come after you and kill you. Verse 11, When Ashpenaz refused, when you stand for God, there's gonna be setbacks. God's not just gonna give you green lights all the way to heaven. You are gonna be tested and the devil's gonna make sure of that. When Ashpenaz refuses to do this, Daniel reasons with the guard under him, whom the chief of the royal eunuchs, Ashpenaz assigned to watch over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah in the seminar. I'll tell you what those Babylonian words and their names mean. Daniel now says to that guard, Melzer, Meltzer, please do us a favour. Put us, your servants, he words it well, to the test for the next 10 days. Give us a vegetarian diet and water. Now friends, if you're on a vegetarian diet and water, then this message today might be quite basic for you. What are we learning here? in the six death decrees. In death decree number one, Daniel and his three mates defied the king's order to eat from the table. The death of their death is implied. It's not explicit, but it is implied. So coming back to the victory of Babylon versus Jerusalem, we are going to study Daniel's resilient battle against the state's mandate to eat food against one's convictions. Somehow I think we've been through this test before. Can what we eat have a physical effect on the body? I think we're all agreed that what we eat today walks and talks tomorrow. And number three, does Daniel's 10-day trial clearly demonstrate how faith, spiritual discipline and food all go together? Because people try and separate all those things out. They have nothing to do with each other. Wrong. Friends, I believe Daniel 1-6, and in fact the whole book is a blueprint for the end times. for you and I to have characters that must develop into the similitude of the character and beauty of the Lord Jesus Christ. What do you say? Isn't that why you're here this morning? You are here this morning to get some tips and skills and hints of how it all fits together. So put your seatbelt on. Thank you, Phil, for this beautiful illustration. Which diet are you now on? Now, I'd just like to point out for the vegans, they're not eggs, they're potatoes. Just a little hint there, bro. Now I have a hard question for you. Listen up. Is it possible? Is it possible that those who were faithfully following the Genesis diet of only fruits, nuts, grains and vegetables and water, a totally plant-based, no meat or dairy diet, made a different decision? Made a what? A different decision during the COVID crisis than other people. Why do I say that? Because in every decision they had already chosen food that was free of animal products. Now since we went vegan, and I told you at the start I was reluctant, Lyn now goes through the item of is there dairy or meat products in this thing from the supermarket? we're already going through that. Sometimes I'm like, Really, honey, you know, one millionth, really? But you know what? It's a process that we were in. So I'm now asking you a question. I'm not telling you, I'm asking you a question. So has the Last Day Events Daniel 1 diet test already passed us by? Some would say yes. and some would say no based on the decisions you made. And if so, what do we learn about boosting our immunity for the next test? I want to go to the book, Councils on Diets and Foods. Alan White wrote, There are those who ought to be awake to the danger of meat eating, who are still eating the flesh of animals, thus endangering the physical, mental and spiritual health. Alan White puts all those three together. Many who are now only half converted on the question of meat eating will go from God's people to walk with them no more. Councels on Diet 382, paragraph one. So friends, does God value obedience over compromise? The answer is yes, He does every time. You and I are going to make hard decisions that are going to cut off some of the pleasures that we now consider our Christian rights. And I'm challenging you whether you'll consider doing that now or whether you're gonna wait for a later time when you think it's gonna be easier. In my book, Daniel chapter one is the King's food and diet test. It's about what you put into your body. What's amazing to me is a lot of people who didn't take the government medicine were still eating the seafood diet, whatever the whatever they see they eat. That's kind of like, okay, well people came at it from different directions. But you know what? God blesses us and helps us grow at different rates in the vineyard. Are you hearing what I'm saying? And He will give us the knowledge and the power and the grace to get through every test. So why is the pastor raising this? Friends, we have been told by the spirit of prophecy that if we don't go back through the books of Daniel and Revelation, we're going to miss the tests that are coming. and so bird flu is spreading from the wild birds to the poultry, from the wild birds to the cows, from the poultry and cows to the humans and also to the cats. It's a shame nobody's passing it back to the wild birds. In Testimony to Churches, Volume 7, 135, Let the people be taught how to prepare food without the use of milk or butter. Tell them that the time will soon come when there will be what? No safety in using eggs, milk, cream or butter, because disease in animals is increasing in proportion to the increase of wickedness among men. The time is near when, because of the iniquity of the fallen race, the whole animal creation will groan under the diseases that curse our earth. Friends, Ellen White wrote that in 1902, so let's go back 125 years. three years ago, I'm asking you now, is it more common? By the way, is anyone having trouble buying eggs? I don't buy eggs, so I don't know. Is it hard to get eggs? And are they expensive? So I'm gonna ask you, are you getting a sign from the industry? Yes, you'll say. Now let me ask you, are you getting a sign from God? Something to think about. The light given me, is that it will not be very long before we shall have to give up any animal food. Even milk will have to be discarded. Disease is accumulating rapidly. The curse of God is upon the earth. Counsels on Diet and Food, 357, paragraph one. There are those who ought to be awake to the danger of meat eating. Pastor, you already read this to us. Yes, I'm reading it to you again. who are still eating the flesh of animals thus endangering the physical, mental and spiritual health. Many who are now only half converted. Well are they? Half converted on the question of meat eating will go from God's people and walk no more with them. Now I've said to myself, I'm a practical thinker, when is that happening? And I'm wondering if it's going to happen during the National Sunday Law. Because people will then separate from People who are not going to keep the green Sunday to save the planet, and so people who are holding the line and staying true to God's Word are going to be seen as, I believe, religious terrorists, extremists, people who don't rightly represent the faith of this denomination. So I'm asking you, are you going to make the hard decisions now or soon or later? Because if you leave it to later, this message isn't going to be really preached much again, I don't think. It's a very unpopular message. Most people reject it out of hand because it's to do with food. So I'm asking you, is food very important in your life? It was in my life, I've told you before, I go 100 miles for a good fish, maybe further. And I was a reluctant vegan, but God put that burden on me. Why am I talking to you about this? Because when you go to the plant-based Genesis diet, the Holy Spirit speaks directly into my mind and tells me, Hey, don't do that before my wife does or you do. And I'm like, what? But I've been doing that, that's okay. No, the Holy Spirit says, Don't do that. that's direct from God. God speaks powerfully into my mind because my mind is free of these animal products. Friends, I believe that many of you would testify to the same thing if you had the faith to do it. So what are we talking about Daniel today? Is it death or deliverance? God moved to deliver Meltser and Daniel from certain death for refusing to eat King Nebuchadnezzar's meat and wine. Death decree number one is Babylon's food versus the Genesis diet. And I just want to challenge you one more time, which diet are you still on? Are you on the Genesis diet, the plant-based diet, or are you on Babylon's food? If you're still on the Babylonian food and everything that went with it, then I'm gonna ask you, when do you think there'll be a time when you'll make the sacrifice? And it is a sacrifice, but don't look at what you're giving up. look at what God's gonna give you. I testified today, if I hadn't done this myself, do you think I could stand up and talk to you about it? Do you think I would talk to you about it? I couldn't talk to you about it, I'd be a hypocrite. I wouldn't be living out what I said. And that's why it's all silent on this topic. By departing from the plan divinely appointed for their diet, the Israelites suffered great loss. They desired a flesh diet and they reaped its results. They did not reach God's ideal of character or fulfill His purposes. They valued the earthly above the spiritual and the sacred preeminence, which was God's purpose for them, they did not attain. Friends, what was the sacred preeminence? The sacred preeminence was that they were to be the head, not the tail. In the Old Testament, they were to be a people who the surrounding nations looked up to as a godly people who had principles and integrity. And are we not in the same position today in these last days? If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything. The Lord has given His people a message in regard to health reform. By the way, this quote is for all those who say, Pastor, what you're talking about is not a sin. It's not a hanging offence. You know, we can eat what we want to eat, the vegetarian diet, the clean meats or whatever. Okay, thanks for the question. The Lord has given His people a message in regard to what? Health reform. We're hearing a lot about health reform today. In a few places, maybe Barbara O'Neill and others, not too much. This light has been shining upon their pathway for 30 years. And the Lord cannot sustain His servants in a course which will counteract it. He's displeased when His servants act in opposition to the message upon this point, which He has given them to give to others. This is regarded as a what? Tell me. Can anyone say it? Not saying it very loud. It's considered a what? A sin in the sight of God. Friends, what was permitted in ancient times and modern times for God's last day people who are going to have to stand up and witness to prime ministers and kings, and you're going to be on TV, you're going to be on YouTube, you will only be able to stand if you have a clear mind that the Holy Spirit can speak into and that you have learned the teachings of Scripture. Conclusions. These are mine. All animal products and food should now not be eaten. I'm going early. I'm asking you to go early and get used to it and acclimatize. Why? I've told you, animal products were not in the Garden of Eden. Fruits, nuts, grains, vegetables are water. No meat, no dairy. They stop character development. They stop the work of the Holy Spirit. God judges this disobedience as a sin for last day Christians. Why should we listen up? Friends, what is on in heaven right now? what's on right now, do you know? Not been preaching about much, I'll preach about it in the prophecy seminar. The three phases of the judgment. We are living in the time of judgment. We are to be the people that God can speak through and use in the last days. So friends, you're either going to get the S.O.G. or the M.O.B. And I notice within Adventist ranks, if any preacher stands up on the mark of the beast, there's 150 people breaking down the front door to get in. But I want to talk to you today about the Seal of God. Very briefly, the Seal of God is faithful and committed and converted Sabbath keeping. Are you watching how you're keeping the Sabbath? Do you guard the edges? Do you kneel down as a family when the sun sets and Saturday night you kneel down as a family when the sun sets again? Do you have that 24-hour period with God? Because if you're not doing that, later on when the green Sunday comes, you will not make a stand because you'll know that you're a hypocrite. You'll know that people have seen you down the street buying and selling or whatever on the Sabbath or sport or whatever it is. You won't stand. This is the time to shape up or ship out. It is very, very late in the day. So friends, when are we going to make a change? I believe we're already in the early time of trouble. You've been watching the news in the last two weeks, the markets and everything. I believe the church is going through a shaking. I believe that we are also going through the sealing time. Do you know that the woman of God said, the person in the pew next to you right now can be receiving the seal of God without you even knowing. Are you aware of that? There's no falling on the floor, barking like dogs and laughing like kookaburras. There's none of that. It's a silent work. the work of the Holy Spirit purifying the hearts of God's people. So friends, I believe that we are in that time now. The next thing is the National Sunday Law and the end of human probation. So I'm asking you, at what point would be the easiest time to make kingdom decisions? Oh, Pastor, just, yeah, I know it's right, but look, just you're a bit early. Okay. I think the same thing would have been said to Noah with Noah's Ark. So where is the zoo nooses coming from? They're coming from bites or saliva and they're coming from direct contact with infected animals, vectors of mosquitoes or ticks, airborne, contamination of water and surfaces, but has anyone seen this one here? Foodborne, the consuming of infected milk, meat or eggs. Friends, that should not be affecting any of you. So bird flu is out and about and they're making a big deal of it. And I want you to think every time you go to KFC, what vaccine are you ingesting? in that drumstick. Do you know what's in it? The first Babylonian test in Daniel chapter 1 was over the control of appetite and diet. And it wasn't just that, it had a death decree assigned to it. those who have received instructions regarding the evils of the use of flesh foods, tea and coffee, now I'm on dangerous ground, and rich and unhealthful food preparations, and who are determined to make a covenant with God by sacrifice, will not continue to indulge their appetite for food that they know to be unhealthful. God demands that the appetites be cleansed, and that self-denial be practised in regard to those things which are not good. This is a work that will have to be done before or after, before His people can stand before Him, a perfected people. So friends, in Daniel chapter 2, we move on, the giant image in the mountain. We have the King's forgotten dream. There's a death decree because the wise men can't reveal it. Daniel prays to the God of heaven to reveal the answer. The God of Heaven reveals His secret to His people. The interpretation is, King Nebuchadnezzar, God gave you a kingdom. God will now set up His kingdom. I believe Daniel 2 is about the forgotten dream test. And so the deft decree number 2, Daniel and the three mates to fire command to be killed and say, give us time. The God of Heaven will reveal His secret. And so we find out here, that Ellen White takes us behind the scenes. Together, Daniel and his three friends sought for wisdom from the source of light and knowledge. Their faith was strong in the consciousness that God had placed them where they were, and that they were doing His work and meeting the demands of duty. In times of perplexity and danger, they'd always turn to Him for guidance and protection, and He'd proved an ever-present help. Now with contrition of heart, they submitted themselves anew to the judge of the earth, pleading that He would grant them deliverance in this their time of special need. And they did not plead in vain. The God whom they had honoured now honoured them. The Spirit of the Lord rested upon them. And to who? Daniel, in a night vision, was revealed the King's dream and its meaning. Prophets and Kings, 493-494. Friends, in looking at death and deliverance, God moves quickly to deliver Daniel and his three mates for certain death, for not knowing and interpreting the king's dream like his wise men. Death decree number two is the wicked will not understand the last day secrets, but God's righteous people will if they're connecting into heaven. They're spending that time in the morning in prayer and Bible study and seeking the will of God and the Holy Spirit, not what our culture is telling us to do. I think I told you about this before that none of the wicked will understand. The message says, those who live wisely and well, they will be well and healthy, will understand what's going on. Friends, I want to tell you that I look after two churches where people are sick, and they come out the door and they cough, and then they shake hands with me and they hug me, and they're all sick and they've got everything. I'll tell you what I'm suffering. since I went on the vegan diet. I get headaches and on occasions I get migraines, but I have not been sick. I haven't been laying in bed for weeks. In fact, I don't even have a doctor. Friends, I'm telling you that if you follow God's plan, He will give you health and immunity to stand for Him though the heavens fall. Step up to health and happiness. In Daniel chapter 3 we have a change of pace. Footsteps in the furnace. King Nebuchadnezzar builds an image on the plain of Dura, doesn't he? And he needs to flush out the conspirators. He's got insurrections. He's got domestic terrorists there. And he's flushing them out because he's afraid that his kingdom is becoming unstable. So he builds a great image. on the plane to see who's loyal and who isn't. And there are the three boys making a stand. What do you think the other Hebrew boys said to them? Get down. You're gonna get us all killed. Just get down, like just put one knee down for the king and one knee up for God. and so they were cast into a burning fiery furnace heated seven times hotter. God provides a supernatural rescue by sending a son of the gods, doesn't He? Thank you Phil, love your work. And so we need to ask the question, the Jews were attacked by their enemies and God promotes them, they actually go up through this in the Babylonian government. This is the public worship test. so point number three, death decree number three, Daniel and his three mates defy a command to bow down or go into the burning fiery furnace. That's an explicit death decree, death or deliverance. How did that heathen king know what the Son of God was like? The Hebrew captives filling positions of trust in Babylon had in life and character, there it is again, represented before to bore the king the truth. When asked for a reason of their faith, they'd given it without hesitation. Plainly and simply they'd presented the principles of righteousness, thus teaching those around them of the God in Heaven whom they worship. They'd told of Christ the Redeemer to come, and in the form of the fourth in the midst of the fire, the king now recognizes who? The Son of God. The Hebrew says, a Son of the gods. God moved to deliver Daniel's three mates from uncertain death for refusing to bow down and worship the idol king. Death decree number three, it's about false worship or true worship. Now most of you here will believe that in that day you will stand very easily. Green Sunday, no problem. But friends we've been through this rodeo before haven't we? So it's going to affect your food, it's going to affect your water, could it possibly affect your job? if there's a digital, central bank digital currency released, are you going to be able to buy and sell? This is the question I'm asking you today. False worship or true worship? It's going to be very, very hard to make the right decision, a biblical decision. Don't you think the devil's going to give you a free pass $200 and you'll pass go? It's not going to happen. Friends, some people have told me that Donald Trump is the answer to all our problems. And I said, you haven't got a clue. He's the answer to all of our nightmares. Friends, are you doing your homework? It's not mainstream media you need to be watching. But this man is committed to bring in A power for Christians, he told them, that you never had before. Isn't that what he said? Roughly. So there's Project 2025. Who's heard of Project 2025? Put your hand up if you know what it is. Okay. So it's a mandate for what sort of leadership of America? What's the word that starts with A? Authoritarian. It's the Heritage Foundation's conservative promise for a second Trump administration. Friends, this was all planned out before Trump won the last election. Here's another book, Project 2025, Democracy at Risk: Trump and the Future of US Politics. So what is Project 2025? Let's go to the best source we can find. Anyone heard of Wikipedia? Legal experts say it would undermine Project 2025, the rule of law. the separation of powers. The separation of powers that's all getting mixed up in America right now is the government power and the judicial power, the power of the politicians and the power of the courts. Have you done your homework? How many people on the Supreme Court owe allegiance to the Church of Rome? You're going to be surprised. It's most of them. I think there's only one lady on there who is not. So there's this 2025 mandate for leadership. and so here we have on MSNBC, no Friend of Trump, an analysis of his first 100 days. And I know that some of you are doing your homework and have found out that over a third of Project 2025 goals have been implemented already. And those who are fully on board with bringing a religious agenda to America are already a part of Donald Trump's cabinet. Now, I'm going to ask you, does anyone know what religious group they might be a part of? All I'll say is I think that they will be very, very much a part of the Church of Rome. Now, is Donald Trump a person who tells the truth? Well, he's got a handicap in that he's a politician. I know nothing about Project 2025. I have I have no idea who's behind it. I disagree with some of the things that they're saying. Wait a minute, I don't know anything about it. I have no idea who's behind it. I disagree with some of the things they're saying and some of the things they're saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Yeah, I think that's a straight off. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them. Donald, when did you release that tweet? on your Truth Social Channel. 6th of July 2024. So did he get converted from the day he made that statement to the end of last year and then was voted in, wasn't he? Inaugurated in January of 2025. Friends, wake up. Is the USA now speaking like a dragon? Some of you have seen the video clip that I took that from. That's Trump's own video clip. And so he, in America, is the head of Trump Plaza, but he had a a a vision that he was going to be the head of Trump Gaza. Are we seeing America move from a lamlight beast to speak like a what? A dragon, are we seeing another Nebuchadnezzar? Remember that his own people say, God spared his life in the assassination so he could bring religion back to America. Woohoo! you! don't seem very excited. There should be someone excited here because it means as land is on the move, God is on the move. you are going to be the generation, God willing, that see Jesus come in the clouds, that we are all close to going home. I'm not putting a date on it, but the wheels are turning like I've never seen. In 45 years of ministry, I have never seen the prophecies being so filled, so fast fulfilled. And that is why I'm running this Daniel prophecy seminar, because I want to share the excitement with you that you might know there's a God in heaven who loves you, has plan for your life and wants to save you and your families. What are the Democrats saying about Trump? Well, not happy Jan. This agenda, the 2025 agenda, is a fascist authoritarian. Fascist means that government and Industry work together. That's already been happening under Biden. There's a slam for Biden. It's a fascist authoritarian dictator's dream. And we know that's exactly who Donald Trump wants to be. So friends, we have to move on from Project 2025 and Green Sunday. In Daniel chapter 4, the huge tree in the middle of earth. A huge tree is cut down, it troubles the king and there's a heavenly watcher. Daniel reveals to the king that he is that tree and he says there's going to be seven years of madness. There's a fulfilment of the dream, the king's prideful boast, there's a heavenly voice and God's name is glorified. Friends, I will tell you this in the seminar, some of you have hobbies here and some of you have hobbies there. Do you know what King Nebuchadnezzar loved? He loved trees. Interesting, isn't it? So when he got this vision that the tree that sheltered the whole earth, the birds collected in was cut down, he knew it was going to be bad. Daniel has to now give a dangerous truth to the king at the risk of his own life. And so is it death or deliverance? You know, God always comes through. God made sure that King Nebuchadnezzar didn't kill Daniel and that he fully trusted in Daniel's madness interpretation due to his foolish challenge to the God of Heaven. Here's the historical records, because some of you might think that Nebuchadnezzar's madness is unsupported historically, wrong. Here is the British Museum, Stela the Fragment. His life appeared of no value, the courtiers wrote. He gave senseless and contradictory orders, and he could not express affection to either his son or his daughter, recognize his clan, or even participate in the building up of Babylon and its temple. This guy is Nebuchadnezzar, the great builder. He would never not take notice of his family or stop the building in the city. and if we had time we could go through the rest of it there, the translation. To Daniel the meaning of the dream was plain and its significance startled him, I bet. He was astonished for one hour and his thoughts troubled him. Seeing Daniel's hesitation and distress, the king expressed sympathy for his servant. He knew this is a bad thing. Belteshazzar, let not the dream or the interpretation thereof trouble thee. The words in green are, straight from Daniel 4, the Scripture. My Lord Daniel answered, the dream be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies. The prophet Daniel realised that upon him, God had laid the solemn duty of revealing to Nebuchadnezzar the judgment that was about to fall upon him because of his pride and arrogance. I've been preaching against pride and arrogance here this morning in Daniel chapter 1. Sorry guys. think about it. Daniel must interpret the dream in language the king should understand. And although its dreadful import had made him hesitate in dumb amazement, yet he must state the truth, whatever the consequences to himself. Then Daniel made known the mandate of the Almighty. Prophets and Kings 5:1-7. Death decree number four of six. The prophet should have been killed for stating that this God King will go into seven long years of full fallen madness. Friends, when Nebuchadnezzar strolled out and said, Is not this great Babylon that I have built for my royal majesty? Daniel 4:29-30, instantly sentence was pronounced on him from heaven, and he went out the back and ate grass like a Victor Lawnmower. and the surrounding peoples could not find out what had happened to the king. But the courtiers ran the place for seven years. No one was appointed. Death decree number four. Daniel told Nebuchadnezzar he was going to go mad. When you make a stand and say, this green Sunday is about saving the planet, but my God is interested in saving the people on the planet because the planet is going to be destroyed and recreated and there'll be a new heaven and a new earth. You are going to get laughed out of the country. It's not going to be easy. It's going to be hard. And what's going to be hard is your own family, friends and neighbours are going to be saying, don't do that. Don't do that. You're crazy. You're crazy. You'll lose everything. your job, your status, your family, everything. In Daniel chapter 5 we have the bloodless hand on the wall. The King's glory in an undefeated kingdom. He has a thousand of his lords and ladies there, winding it up for a couple of weeks of party. The mystery of the writing in verses 5 to 9, the queen's sermon, there's only one guy who can save the day and that is Daniel. Belshazzar, that's King Belshazzar confronts Bel Tshazzar. Now in the seminar I'm going to tell you that I love what the Jewish scholars do. They put a T in there and that deforms that Daniel is not a worshipper of the god Bel or Bull. And it has changed the meaning of his name, Bel Tshazzar. The prophet sermon verses 17 to 24. There's a ciphering of the writing, the fall of the final Babylonian kingdom. Manay, you are numbered and counted, tekel, you are weighed, peres, from the word uparsan, you are divided and broken up. Friends, you today in this sermon are counted, numbered, weighed and you are to be shaken. I'm asking you to go away and pray about the things the Holy Spirit has spoken to you about today and ask God what you should do. Don't shoot me, I'm just the piano player. I'm just the messenger. Friends, Daniel 5 is a prophecy of doom. The enemies are at the gate. Daniel tells King Belshazzar that Babylon's about to be overthrown. They've come in through the unguarded river gate. and so death or deliverance. God makes sure that King Belshazzar doesn't kill Daniel, even though he has no respect and no relationship with him. He doesn't care about him. Death decree number five is implied, not explicit. The prophet should have been killed for prophesying that this young king's city will now be overthrown by the Medes and Persians. Nobody's even going to our current Prime Minister in saying, you, time is up. Probably because the bookies say his time isn't up. So there is the overthrow. This is the interpretation of the thing. Menahem, God have numbered the kingdom and finished it. Tekel, you're weighed in the balances and found wanting, King Belshazzar. Peres, thy kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians. In that last night of mad follow, Belshazzar and his laws had filled up the measure of their guilt and the guilt of the Chaldean kingdom no longer no longer could God's restraining hand ward off the impending evil through manifold providences God had sought to teach them reverence for His law. Jeremiah wrote in 519, We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed. Because of the strange perversity of the human heart, God had at last found it necessary to pass the irrevocable sentence. Belshazzar was to fall and his kingdom was to pass into other hands. In that the scripture says was Belshazzar, the king of the Chaldean slaying, and an alien monarch sat upon the throne. Who was that? King Darius and above him King Cyrus. We're gonna share in the seminar his father-in-law. Talk about keep it all in the family. In Daniel chapter 6 we have the wind up of the six stories. The lions are under it, a charm. The problem with Daniel is he was made first over all the local guys, first of all the presidents. And so they started plotting against him, knowing they could catch him worshipping any other god. And so he's cast into the lion's den. God saves him through the angel. The plotters are thrown in and God's success is Daniel's success. Friends, this is Satan's final death decree. So let me summarize what I've said. I believe, and I could be wrong, that we've been through Daniel chapter 1. I believe we've been through that test. Daniel chapter 3, I believe is the next text. Test the Green Sunday, the Sunday law. Then the final test is this death decree that we spoke about as we started with that quote. So are you looking forward in faith to death or deliverance? God made sure the lions didn't kill Daniel even though they were starving. The prophet should have been killed by the lions as they were so hungry they devoured the governors even before their bodies hit the bottom of the den and their families. God did not prevent Daniel's enemies from casting him into the lion's den. Some of you are saying, why are all these bad things happening to me, Pastor? Why God doesn't love me? Why is going wrong? God didn't prevent it. He permitted evil angels and wicked men thus far to accomplish their purpose. But it was that He might make the deliverance of His servant more marked and the defeat of the enemies of truth and righteousness more complete. Amen. Through the courage of this one man, the man who chose to follow right rather than government policy, Satan was to be defeated and the name of God was to be exalted and honoured. From the story of Daniel's deliverance we may learn that the seasons of trial and gloom, God's children, in seasons of trial and gloom, God's children should be just what they were when their prospects were bright with hope and their surroundings all they could desire. Daniel and the lion's den was the same Daniel. who stood before the King as chief among the ministers of state and as a prophet of the Most High. You know, there's a text that Paul has that I haven't mastered. I'm still struggling with it. You know what he says? In every circumstance I am content. When everything's going wrong, I have a peace. I have the peace of Jesus in my heart. In every circumstance I am content. that's a big call, isn't it? Showing that everything outside of you didn't have to be going well for him, to him to say, I know who I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day of the second coming, the judgment of God. A man or woman whose heart is stayed upon God will be the same in the hour of his greatest trial as he is in prosperity. When the light and favor of God and of men beam upon him, Faith reaches to the unseen and grasps eternal realities, thus viewing the things of time in the light of eternity. We may, like Daniel and his three friends, live for that which is true and noble and enduring. What do you say? And learning in this life the principles of God, of the kingdom of our Lord and Saviour, we may be prepared at His coming to enter with Him into its possession. Friends, is there any idol? Is there any God that you're worshipping down here that you'd trade for Jesus? because some of us are doing it every day. Death decree number six, Daniel kept praying to God during the ban. So when the mandate and the ban comes, are you still going to keep the seventh day Sabbath when it's illegal to come here on a Sabbath? Are you going to be able to hold the line? I have faith in you. I believe that you will. I believe that many, many, many of you will. And that God is going to do a powerful work in His last day people.
